The population of San Pedro is about 25000 and the surface of the whole area is 22 square kilometers. There is less than eight kilometers beach in this area but the main attraction is surely Lo Pagan with its salt lakes and mud baths. The weekly market takes place on Monday and is a cozy meeting place. San Pedro has several bars, restaurants and a casino. Especially in the month of July and August is quite lively here because many Madrileños in this area have a second home and want their vacation to spend here.
