As a seaside port, Torrevieja has a three-kilometre-long promenade with restaurants, shops and opportunities to relax. The city is surrounded by two salt lakes. These lakes are very famous for their beneficial air and healing powers in combination with the warm climate. The harbor is in the center, from there boats sail to the island of Tabarca. Every Friday you can visit one of the largest weekly markets on the Costa Blanca. For golf enthusiasts, there are a number of golf courses within a radius of 10 kilometers, such as Las Ramblas, Villamartin, Campoamor and La Finca. The Aquopolis water park, with numerous water slides and swimming pools, is definitely worth a visit.

Some of the holiday homes that we rent are located on the Villa Amalia complex. This fairly new complex is located in the prominent (villa) district of La Veleta in the south of Torrevieja. The sea is 200 meters away and the nearest wide, white sandy beach is Playa de los Náufragos, 800 meters away. You will encounter this beach on the way to the center, which is 1.5 kilometers from the complex.

If you continue south towards Orihuela Costa, you will pass the sea and several beautiful beaches. There are two large supermarkets, several restaurants, cafes and beach bars and a bus stop 200 meters from the complex. So you have all amenities at hand in a relatively quiet area!

The environmentally friendly eco-residential complex Villa Amalia was completed in early 2017 and is a true holiday paradise. The luxury apartments and holiday homes have a living room, two or three bedrooms, two bathrooms with underfloor heating, private outdoor space (balcony and/or (roof) terrace), a fully equipped kitchen, TV, climate control (both warm and cold air through the entire house) and a washing machine.The resort has a lift, WiFi, 3 swimming pools (1 heated) and a fitness room. As a guest you can use all facilities free of charge. There is a spacious parking garage underneath the complex. A parking space costs €5 per night or €90 per month. Public parking along the road is free. If you want to rent bicycles, a boat or a car, we can arrange this for you. An airport transfer (one way or return) is also available on request!

Villa Amalia is completely fenced. The swimming pools are also protected by fences. So your offspring can play outside safely. The complex is built in such a way that optimal use is made of the sun. This means that the homes also have maximum sun in winter. The insulation and internal ventilation are excellently arranged, keeping the house at a pleasant temperature.
